Here are the planning applications submitted to Wiltshire Council (south), received in the week ending November 14:

PL / 2021/10511 – Antrobus House, 39 Salisbury Road, Amesbury, SP4 7HH

Works on a protected tree. Acacia T1 – Reduction of the crown at the previous pruning points (approximately 1.5 – 2 meters), check and adjust the Cobra Bracing if necessary. 4 – 5 meters and lateral of approx. 2 – 3 meters, to leave a tree with a nice shape and shape. This is due to large members who failed on the morning of 10/31-2021. Owner request. Extension of two floors at the back to form a bedroom and a living room extension.

Full town planning permit. Construction of an awning covering the patio on the side of the town hall.

Chalke wide

PL / 2021/10254 – Reddish House, South Street, Broad Chalke, SP5 5DL

Owner request. A single storey private artist studio in the grounds of Reddish House.

Full town planning permit. Retrospective partial town planning permit for the establishment of 7 sheepfolds and an old railway car.

Ebbesborne’s wake

PL / 2021/10360 – Dial Cottage, The Cross, Ebbesbourne Wake, SP5 5JF

Proposed work on trees in a conservation area. T1 – If – Crown reduced to one third. T2 – If – Crown reduced to one third. T3 – Apple – Reduce and reshape the pruning points of the original crown. T4 – Walnut – Prune overhanging branches to the limit. G1 – Conifer – Delete.

Laverstock and Ford

PL / 2021/10275 – Unit 6, Hurricane Close, Old Sarum, SP4 6LG

Full town planning permit. The construction of an additional industrial unit next to unit 6.

PL / 2021/09962 – 20 green way, Ford, SP4 6DE

Owner request. (Retrospective) Removed the brick wall in front of the bungalow, replaced with wooden fence panels on concrete gravel boards and concrete posts, the existing wall was 1m high, the new fence was to be 1.5 m high.


PL / 2021/10651 – 10 Queen Street, Salisbury, SP1 1EY

Works in a listed building and full planning permission. Modification of the store front to add a pedestrian door to the far left of the main facade. Internal modifications to facilitate the change of use of the first floor into a single bed, the works include the creation of an access corridor and new stairs to the first floor and the removal of the existing modern stairs and the addition of divisions in the hall on the flat staircase. Creation of an adjoining bathroom to the back bedroom on the 3rd floor.

Owner request. Two-storey side extension proposed.

PL / 2021/10412 – 10 Westbourne Close, Salisbury, SP1 2RU

Owner request. Side and rear extensions on one level.

PL / 2021/10117 – 1, Bishops Walk, The Close, Salisbury, SP1 2EQ

Full town planning permit. Remove windows x3 and changes to the immediately surrounding concrete blocks and insert exterior French doors x3. Erect a 3m x 18m open-sided covered area under a curved awning with level ground and a hard permeable finish.
