Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s neighbors in Montecito put their house on the market – and it’s fit for royalty
An incredible chateau-style estate described as the Palace of Versailles in California has been marketed for £ 22million – and it’s in the same neighborhood as the Duke and Duchess of Sussexfrom £ 11million to Montecito.

The lavish property spans 12,000 square feet with five bedrooms and ten bathrooms, and looks definitely royalty-worthy if Prince Harry and Meghan consider leaving the property they currently share with children Archie, two. and baby Lilibet.

According to Jam Press, the home was built with rare and luxurious features, including imported French marble kitchen counters, historic chandeliers, and bricks from Italy.
As you might expect, the vast estate has facilities including a gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool, while an underground tunnel leads to a cellar that can hold 200 bottles of wine, and a safe. Bank in the Butler’s Pantry protects precious kitchen utensils – great for any Royal Family heirlooms Prince Harry may own.

Meanwhile, the exterior of the property is pristine, with manicured gardens with a 1,000-year-old Carrara fountain in the center. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and pool house, as well as a putting green, on nearly two acres of land.

The estate is located in the same neighborhood where Prince Harry and Meghan moved in 2020, and other famous faces who live in the area include Oprah, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ellen DeGeneres.

While Harry and Meghan’s current home costs half the price of this neighboring estate, it’s just as luxurious judging by the rare glimpses we’ve had inside over the past 18 months.

The couple’s video calls and TV appearances offered a glimpse of a few areas of the residence, including their living room, which features a neutral color palette and decorative touches of table books, vases of fresh flowers, and Diptyque candles.
Their home has nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, plus other amenities including an arcade, cinema room, wine cellar, tennis court, and large outdoor pool.
