Leander (Williamson County) — A developer in San Antonio announced that he would build a rental housing community.

AHV communities (AHV), specializing in the development of individual rental homes, will build 244 units. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023.

“It’s rare to find such a well-located piece of land in Austin large enough for a new single-family rental community of this quality,” said Mark Wolf in a press release, co-founder and CEO of AHV Communities. “With Austin’s explosive growth, this new community will help meet the unfettered demand in the metro area for premium rental options that are in record demand.”

Architects based in Irvine, CA KTGY will design the homes, which will offer three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet.

Each home will include a walk-in two-car garage and private fenced yard.

The residences will be enviably appointed with an array of durable, smart, and luxurious amenities including designer kitchens with quartz countertops; designer vinyl flooring; stainless steel appliances; modern, energy-efficient LED lighting; ceiling fans (in some places); USB wall ports; primary walk-in closets; double-sink vanities in master bathrooms; and more.

In addition, lawn maintenance will be provided for the houses as part of AVS’ on-site maintenance package.

The community itself will offer a robust suite of amenities, including a clubhouse lounge and retreat center; resort-style pool with deck; 24-hour technical fitness center; Dog park; pet wash station; large community conference room; Free Wi-Fi in all common areas; Barbecue and picnic areas designed for outdoor entertaining; as well as a pétanque and playground. Professional on-site management staff will provide a hassle-free life for residents.
